INTERIORS 08 will offer a full track of experiential educational offerings that will take you out and about in New Orleans. Exciting hands-on sessions will explore various neighborhoods and immerse you in all that New Orleans has to offer.


Ricca's Architectural Warehouse and the Pitot House Museum and Gardens

Boasting three warehouse showrooms and a large storefront, on any given day you can still find 700 to 800 old stripped cypress and pine doors, French doors, antique hardware, hundreds of antique lighting fixtures, reproduction hardware that looks antique, and more on Ricca’s floor. This 54-year-old family-owned and -operated Mid-City business has long been considered the go-to place for demolition work, with an extensive inventory of architectural embellishments, including leaded stained-glass windows and doors. Next, visit the painstakingly restored and furnished with Louisiana and American antiques from the early 1800s, the Pitot House is the only Creole colonial style house museum in New Orleans.
