Drue Lawlor, FASID, is a certified interior designer in the state of California where she is one of the principals of CLP Interiors in Pasadena. This full-service design firm specializes in residential and executive office design, with a strong emphasis on design consultation. The firm has partnered in jobs coast to coast.
In addition to her interior design practice, Drue holds a principal position in education-works, inc. a professional development seminar group, which develops, produces and delivers continuing education seminars for the design professional. These seminars are delivered to audiences across the country as well as being available online.
She is an NCIDQ certificate holder, a Certified Interior Designer in the state of California, and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is currently Chair of the ASID National Council of Fellows and has served on the ASID National Board as well as being Chair of the ASID National Training Advisory Council and Chair of the ASID Council of Presidents.
Drue was also a college instructor for 24 years at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and has taught at the University of Southern California’s School of Fine Arts, Pasadena City College, and Santa Monica College. She has taught courses in such subjects as residential thesis, business management, marketing, space planning, and the history of architecture and interior design. She has co-authored and co-produced a series of design seminars with another local interior designer, which have been offered around the country.
